In yoga, an asana is a posture.
Asanas are also performed as physical exercise where they are sometimes referred to as yoga postures. Asanas promote good health, strength, flexibility, balance, breath and sirculation.
Combining the asanas with the breath we also cultivate awareness, relaxation and concentration. We can achieve inner peace, let go of what does not serve us in a positive way, ground and change negative thoughts to positive.
